I am looking for a boat to assist with the crew side of things. I've sailed a couple of times and wouldn't consider myself a pro at all, however, I am a very quick learner, a great listener, I don't debate with decisions you make on the boat, and assure you that I am stronger and have more stamina than 95% of the people on here. I would love to hear from anyone that needs an extra hand, a good laugh, and a competitive spirit on board.

I am an experienced sailor recently transplanted to Southern California from the East coast (was very active in the Chesapeake Bay racing circuit for the better part of 10 years). Raced on a Beneteau First 42 on all the big races, Annapolis to Bermuda, Marblehead to Halifax, and inland races as well. I know all areas of the boat, but primary have worked on the bow and at the mast, but can helm, work the pit, assist with nav, make a mean sandwich, tell jokes that would make you blush, you name it. Regardless of my experience, I like to have a good time, meet new people and GO FAST. Email me for more information. Thanks!!

I have sailed 36 Ensenada Races in a row - made it down there every time. I have sailed 16 Ensenadas on my own boat. The last 7 times I took a 3rd, two 2nds, and 3 firsts in class, including one first over-all (450 boats). In this year's Ensenada Tune-up race as skipper, my boat took first in class and second over-all. I also sailed in the '07 Transpac on a Santa Cruz 50. Took first boat from Hawaii to finish. I can drive, trim and navigate. I suggest tactics, but the skipper always makes the decisions. I am 6 feet tall, 185 pounds. I would prefer a boat 36 feet or more and a good natured, but determined crew to trophy in this year's race. I am also Vice Commodore of Yacht Racing Union, So Cal.
