The Starboard tack competitor indicated that he no room to clear. The Port tack competitor indicated that there was plenty of room and he was able to tack to Starboard without interfering. There were no witnesses and no contact was made. |
The reports from both parties varied dramatically. We were unable to tell what happened without a witness. We're denying the protest for lack of clarifying information.
