How to Enable Cookies


To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using.

After you have made the following changes, Click Here to return to event registration.


Mozilla Firefox 2.x (PC):

  1. Click Tools > Options.
  2. Click Privacy in the top panel.
  3. Select the checkbox labeled 'Accept cookies from sites.'
  4. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox 1.x (PC):

  1. Click Tools > Options.
  2. Click Privacy in the top panel.
  3. Click the Cookies tab.
  4. Select the checkbox labeled 'Allow sites to set cookies.'
  5. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox (Mac):

  1. Go to the Firefox drop-down menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Under Cookies, select the option 'Allow sites to set Cookies.'
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 & 8
  • Click Start > Control Panel. (Note: with Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows Start button > Settings > Control Panel).
  • Double-click the Internet Options icon.
  • Click the Privacy tab.
  • Click the Advanced button.
  • Select the option 'Override automatic cookie handling' under the Cookies section in the Advanced Privacy Settings window.
  • Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'First-party Cookies.'
  • Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'Third-party Cookies.' (Note: if you select the 'Prompt' option, you'll be prompted to click OK every time a website attempts to send you a cookie.)
  • In the Internet Options window, click OK to exit.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
  • Click Start > Control Panel. (Note: with Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows Start button > Settings > Control Panel).
  • Click the Advanced button.
  • Select the option 'Override Automatic Cookie Handling.'
  • Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'First-party Cookies.'
  • Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'Third-party Cookies.' (Note: if you select the 'Prompt' option, you'll be prompted to click OK every time a website attempts to send you a cookie.)
  • In the Internet Options window, click OK to exit.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
  • Click on the "Security" tab.
  • Click the "Custom Level" button.
  • Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
  • To enable:
    • Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
    • Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
  • Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
  • Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
  • Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  • Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
  • To enable:
    • Select "Always accept cookies".
  • Click "OK".
Google Chrome:
  • Click the Tools menu.
  • Select Options.
  • Click the Under the Hood tab and find the 'Privacy' section.
  • In the Cookie settings drop-down menu, select 'Allow all cookies.'

Safari:

  • Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
  • Select Preferences.
  • Click Security in the top panel.
  • Under 'Accept Cookies' select the option 'Only from sites you navigate to

Opera 9.0

  • Open the "Tools" menu
  • Select "Preferences"
  • Open the "Advanced" tab
  • Select "Cookies"
  • Select "Accept Cookies" or "Accept Cookies only from the website I visit" option depending on your requirements
  • Click "OK" to save the settings

Opera 7 & 8

  • Open the "Tools" menu
  • Select "Preferences" to open a dialog box
  • Open the "Advanced" tab
  • Select "Cookies"
  • Select "Allow all cookies" in normal cookies combo box or third party cookies combo box depending on your requirements

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0

  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
  • Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
  • Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
  • Select "Enable all cookies".
  • Click "OK".
Netscape Communicator 4.x
  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
  • Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.
  • To enable:
    • Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
  • Click "OK".
