Who: Entrants must be Sea Scouts, sail at the Newport Sea Base through one if its affiliate programs, and be under 21 years old, or be a Junior Sailor at a local Yacht Club. What: A series of races, off the Newport Sea Base docks. Parents are encouraged to come and enjoy the festivities. When: Regatta preparation will begin after the commencement of the Newport Sea Base Opening Day. The first gun (starting signal) will be at 1400. No races will start after 1630. Why: Because it’s a ton of fun, and you’ll learn a lot too! How: The racing rules of sailing 2013-2016 will apply except where modified by this notice of race or the sailing instructions for the Andy Fitzpatrick Regatta. Cost: $10 per team (Paid at check in)
