LAUDERDALE YACHT CLUB 2015 SUMMER SAILING: The Summer Sailing Program is open to children of both Members and Non - Members. Non - Member children must be sponsored by an active Member to be eligible for participation. If you don't know any members, we can help you get sponsorship. All sailors are required to bring their own Coast Guard Type III approved life jacket. 

MERCURY MENTORS - Introduction to Seamanship
Designed to introduce children ages 5-7 years old to water and the sport of sailing. BEGINNER OPTI - Learn to Sail in an Optimist Dinghy
For children, ages 8-12 years old, with little or no previous experience. 

GREEN FLEET - Intermediate Optimist Dinghy
 This course is designed for sailors who have completed a previous summer or season of sailing. 

420 LEARN TO SAIL - Learn to Sail in a 420
For children, ages 8-12 years old and for teenagers, ages 13-16 years old, with little or no previous experience.
