For the third year, the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club will host the annual Warm-Up Clinic for club 420’s to gear up for the Orange Bowl Regatta. The clinic will be three days; December 21st through the 23rd. Come train for the Orange Bowl Regatta, take a holiday break and then sail the Orange Bowl all on Biscayne Bay.
This year the clinic will have a minimum of four coaches; three of which coach top college teams. Already named to be coaching are Brown Head Coach John Mollicone, Dartmouth Head Coach Justin Assad, Eckerd College Head Coach Kevin Reali and Gonzalo Crivello of Ransom Everglades. The clinic will offer both high level training as well as a transition group, sailing the club 420 for the first year. The sailing venue at BBYC, on Biscayne Bay, is world class and offers some of the best racing available. With high quality coaching and welcoming hospitality the clinic is sure to be an excellent addition to the calendar. The clinic will be in Club 420s and is bring your own boat or charter. Charters will be available on site and can be setup to continue through the Orange Bowl Regatta.
Entry Fee for Clinic is $800.00 a boat
Sailors should be ages 14-18. The clinic will be multi-level and participation will be matched by coaches. A larger turnout will lead to more coached being named and a cap on total participants to keep the ratio safe and effective. So, register early to ensure a spot.
