Please join us for the 9th Annual "Feed the Need" Regatta. This is a wonderful way to start off the summer sailing season for all sailors. (However, there is NO Green Fleet.)

This is a special year for the PBYC as we are celebrating our 100th year! The PBYC membership takes great pride in making the "Feed the Need" Regatta a fun and pressure-free experience for the kids, so please encourage all your sailors to support this wonderful event. Now that we have moved to an on-line registration process, we expect this to be easier for all to participate.

The great tradtion surrounding this regatta is the collection of non-perishable food items for our local food bank.  We realize how fortunate we are to have our children enjoy sailing lessons during the summer. But there are countless area families that struggle each day just to put food on their tables. The “Feed the Need” Regatta encourages all participating sailors to bring non-perishable food items as a donation for the St. Vincent de paul Society Food Pantry. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach the children how important philanthropy and community involement is. As an added incentive for the kids, PBYC sponsors a pizza party for the Jr. Sailing program that donates the most items.
