The Keowee Sailing Club and Flying Scot Fleet 193 invite you to compete in the 2016 GRITS ‘n HAGGIS Regatta, which will also serve as the 2016 FLYING SCOT DIXIE LAKES DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP. This event is open to all Flying Scots, although only skippers who are both paid Flying Scot Sailing Association members AND members of a chartered FSSA Dixie Lakes District fleet will be eligible to compete for District Championship awards. The entry fee of $75 per boat covers two days of racing (weather permitting), prizes for the top 7 finishers in the Grits ‘n Haggis Regatta and for the top 3 finishers in the Dixie Lakes District Championship, plus a complete weekend food and drink package for two people (includes 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, beer & wine, soft drinks, water, etc.) Meals for additional crew members, or for non sailing guests and family members, can be purchased.
