Basic Keelboat Course - (4 Day Course) $450, Optional US Sailing Certification $50
The US Sailing Basic Keelboat Course is the national standard for quality sailing instruction. This course, taught on classic 25ft sloops, includes keelboat concepts, boat and personal preparation, rigging, sail trim, departure and return under sail, basic sailing maneuvers, points of sail, wind-sensing, use of navigational charts, basic navigation rules, emergency procedures, anchoring, man overboard rescue and more. This weekend course will be conducted on May 28 & 29 and June 4 & 5, 2016 weather permitting.
