The Dillon Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program & the Dillon Marina are proud to host the 2017 Rocky Mountain USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival. We are proud to host this event, as part of a nationwide series of sailing regattas for youth ages 8 to 21. Each event in this family of regattas is hosted by a different club or organization, but all events share a common goal: to encourage young sailors to enjoy sailing and to develop their skill. Events mix Olympic-style competition with elements of learning and fun for all levels--from beginning racers to those with Olympic aspirations. The following fleets will be competing: Laser Radial, RS Tera, C420, & Optimist

Friday July 28th
11:00am - 5:00pm: Registration / Check- in
12:00pm - 1:00pm: On Shore Clinic
1:30pm - 4:00pm: On Water Clinic / Practice Racing
5:00pm: Pizza for competitors
Saturday July 29th
8:00am - 9:30am: Registration / Check-in & Breakfast
9:30am - 10:00am: Opening Ceremony / Skipper’s Meeting
11:00am: First Start / Racing (lunch on water / 5-7 races expected)
5:00pm: Dinner (Taco Bar for racers; additional tickets available for purchase)
Sunday July 30th
8:30am - 10:00am: Breakfast
11:00am: First Start / Racing (lunch on water / 5 expected)
2:30pm: Last start
3:30pm: Closing / Awards Ceremony
The entry fee includes an official 2017 Junior Olympics t-shirt, Friday/Saturday dinners, lunches, and trophies.
