News & Notices

These SSI's are an addendum to the Dual Bridge Duel Notice of Race.

    COURSE

Courses will be displayed on the starboard side of the RC boat.  Except for buoy 14, the order of the marks displayed is irrelevant.  Boats starting in a westerly direction will round the lower numbered mark first.  Boats starting in an easterly direction will round the higher numbered mark first.  All marks are to be left to port.  The OCSA Designated Mark Chart is modified to add Navigational Buoy "3" at 45º 37' 03.686N 122º 40' 24.929W near the Interstate Bridge and Navigational Buoy "19" at 45º 35' 51.612N 122º 33' 07.030W near the Glenn Jackson Bridge.

    STARTING

There are two pennants but all classes will start in the same sequence; both pennants will be raised together.  Two start lines will be setup.  The line for boats choosing to start in a westerly direction (down-river) will be north of the RC boat between it and buoy 14.  The line for boats choosing to start in an easterly direction (up-river) will be south of the RC boat between it and a yellow mark.

    FINISHING

The finish will be between the RC boat and buoy 14.  Note that OCSA GSI 12.2 is in effect, the finish line is restricted after starting.
