About Event

The Columbia Basin Sailing Club (CBSC) invites all sailors to join us for the 41st Annual Desert Regatta, held at Charbonneau Park, May 20th and 21st on the Snake River. Just 17 miles from Pasco WA., the Snake River behind the Ice Harbor Dam offers a large area of smooth, fresh water with little powerboat traffic. More than a dozen course options makes for varied and exciting racing. Camping is available at Charbonneau Park and Hood Park, but is limited so register early. Open to Flying Scot, Hobie, Thistle, Laser, Tasar, Lido, C-Lark, San Juan 21, Fireball, Lightning, and all trailerable boats with a Portsmouth number. Three boats in any class will have their own start. All races sailed under the Racing Rules of Sailing, (RRS), except as provided in the Desert Regatta Sailing Instructions and as prescribed by the One Design or Association Class rules. There will be a catered dinner on Saturday night after the racing.
