An around-the-buoys yacht race held in Block Island Sound with the start/finish line just outside of the Great Salt Pond Channel entrance. The race is typically 12 miles long and has two PHRF divisions with trophies for a spinnaker class and a cruising class. It is followed by an awards party at Kimberly's Restaurant after the event. Proceeds benefit the Mary D Fund, Block Island's in-home healthcare service provider.
