Every day is unique – wind & weather may dictate our activities. Explorers may roam the local marine estuaries, sail aboard a 23’ keelboat, powerboat to a local island, look for & identify shells, learn from a guest speaker from Marine Patrol or the US Coast Guard or Fire Dept., or paddle to see protected species. Bad weather day? No problem! Hands-on STEM activities will allow us to learn more about our environment. Explorers must be able to swim; wear their life jackets at all times; and bring their own reusable water bottle. Sunscreen, hat & sunglasses are strongly recommended for this afternoon program.
