There is no charge for the Rum Race Series. GBCA membership is encouraged. This is what supports the club and the liquid prizes we enjoy. Senior membership is required to count for series awards.
The Rum Race Series will consist of nine (9) races, with the best of eight (8) races counted for the overall series. The dates of the races are listed in Section XII. The start is staggered, based on the handicap starting time provided in Attachment #1. Six classes are anticipated: Spinnaker Sprit, Spinnaker Non-Sprit, Non-Spinnaker, GBCA Club Handicap, SOS-TEX Shorthanded and Multihull.
