Lauderdale Yacht Club High School sailing is two different Programs. Open High School Sailing (OHSS) is open to all high school sailors in the Fort Lauderdale area. It is sailed on 420s and is sailed Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 3:30-6:30 PM. The first day of sailing is January 14th. The last day of sailing is May 3rd. OHSS is for beginner and intermediate sailors who want to learn how to race in High School. The LYC High School Race Team is for St. Thomas Aquinas and Pine Crest School. This is a race team that attends regattas regularly and are eligible for National level events. First day of practice is Tuesday, January 8th. Payment must be made in full before January 8th.
