Calling all kiteboarders and hydrofoilers….. WindyCity Kite Sports and Corinthian Yacht Club will be hosting a Kiteboard and Foil Fun Race at Montrose Beach, in Chicago, on Saturday June 1st, 11a-5p. No wind day is Sunday June 2nd. This is a total local-friendly, no-race experience event! If you’re a competent kiter, don’t be shy! There will be 2 classes and 2 courses; one for twintips and the other for hydrofoil boards. Inflatable or foil kites welcome in either class. This event will be very laid back, so come have some fun and participate! The courses will be set up offshore, with support boats courtesy of Corinthian Yacht Club, but please be confident of your self-rescue skills.
