2019 Spring Break Learn to Sail Week
Pre-requisite: 4th – 8th Grade in School
Student Age Recommendations: 9 - 14 years old
This Learn to Sail course is designed for Beginner Level sailors with little to no prior experience with sailing. In the course we will utilize three different types of dinghy sailboats: Optimist, Club 420, and O'Pen BIC. Our new sailors will learn the basics of sailing while incorporating lessons from the US Sailing REACH curriculum that is based on STEM principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It will be a fun-filled week of learning and having fun on the water!
