The race is ON! However, measures have been taken to adhere to the CDC guidelines:
The Competitors' meeting at Molly McGuire's has been cancelled. Instead, we will have a conference call at the same time: 7pm on Friday, March 20. Dial (605) 313-4154 and use access code 464235. If you have any technical issues, please send a text to 973-296-8011. We will discuss:
* Sailing Instructions (posted on the Regatta Network Site as of 3/18),
* Pre-Set Courses
* Pursuit Race Start Sheets
* Sportsmanship and Newbie AwardS
* Weather & Wind Forecasts
* Rendezvous points for regatta shirt and trophy distribution
Since onsite registration was to be done at the Competitors' Meeting, you can only register now online via Regatta Network.
The Awards dinner at Tubby's has been cancelled. If your boat has placed and you cannot come to the rendezvous point on Sunday evening, your trophy will be delivered or shipped to you. Since Registration Fees include a dinner, we will make it up to those who paid by either a gift certificate to Tubby's or a credit on next year's regatta! Your regatta shirt will also be sent or delivered to you.
