The LYC Opti Green Fleet Program is a junior sailing program that supports ages 8-15. The fall program begins September 12 and ends December 17, 2020. Accepted Green Fleet sailors are learning to race and have attended LYC summer camp or an equivalent sailing course. Green Fleet practice schedule, calendar and explanation of the calendar can be found at lycsailing.com. Sailors new to the LYC Sailing Program shall submit an application to the Sailing Director at john.casey@lyc.org. Most importantly, LYC sailors have fun while learning life lessons they can take with them from LYC and apply over the rest of their lifetimes. The LYC Sailing Program is geared toward a Corinthian spirit including teamwork, sportsmanship and helping others become better sailors and people while competing at a high level. Completed registration is not a guarantee of enrollment. Sailor enrollment and Fleet placement is at the discretion of the Sailing Director and coaches.
