Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This entry program allows students to learn the basics of sailing in a safe, instructional environment. Class size is limited to allow for a maximum 1:5 instructor/student ratio. Students are accompanied by a BRSS (US Sailing) certified instructor throughout the lesson while they learn water safety, points of sail, rights of way, and other information needed on how to pilot a sailboat and begin to advance through the full BRSS sailing program. This program utilizes boats in the Club’s fleet including a Hobie Cat, Capri 14, Capri 16, and Flying Scots for this group instruction. Supervised lunch service is available separately from the BRYC snack bar following the daily lesson.
