Meadow Croft Bowl And George C. Furman Trophy Match Race September 5, 2022 Notice of Race 1. Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules, as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing, (RRS), as modified by Appendix C 2. Boats: The regatta will be sailing in J 22s provided by Sayville Yacht Club. The standing rigging shall not be adjusted, except by direction of the Organizing Authority. 3. Teams: Each competing team is to provide skipper and crew for 1 boat. There is no crew weight limit at this event. 4. Eligibility: The event is open only to teams from Sayville Yacht Club, Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club, A teams from the GBSYRA and Centerport Yacht Club. Each club will provide one 5 member match race team. 5. Schedule of Events: 1200 Skippers Meeting 1300 First Signal 6. Venue: Racing will take place on the waters of the Great South Bay in the vicinity of Sayville Yacht Club. 7. Sailing Instructions: Sailing Instructions will be available at registration. 8. Courses: Courses will be diagrammed in the Sailing Instructions. 9. Umpires: When practicable, races will be umpired in accordance with Appendix C as modified by the Sailing Instructions. 10. Prizes: The Meadow Croft Bowl will be awarded to the winning team between SYC and SCYC. The George C. Furman Trophy will be awarded to the winning GSBYRA team. 11.
