About Event

The Great Pumpkin Regatta was first sailed in 1988 and has traditionally been held the Saturday before Halloween. Pumpkin Pies and actual Pumpkins for carving have been a regular award. It is the Kick Off of the prime sailing season, usually benefiting from nice breeze. Open to PHRF including Multihull & Monohull classes. One Design Fleets: Flying Scot, M15, Sunfish, ILCA 7, ILCA 6, ILCA 4, E Scow, MC Scow as well as Boat Share American 18s and Waves. Dinner and Awards on Pavilion following racing: Smoked Pork meal with two sides, cornbread, pumpkin pie, tea and lemonade.
