After decades of Hobie Wave sailing at CCSC, we will crown our first Clearwater Hobie Wave Champion! The event is a supplied boat regatta capped at 16 competitors. The focus is to crown the best Hobie wave sailors out of our membership. Therefore the regatta registration will be open only for members to enter from January 16 to 23. After the 23rd any remaining spots will open to the general public. 16 competitors will be sorted into 4 fleets that will sail 8 boats in a round Robin qualifying series on Saturday March 4th. The fleet will then be divided in half into gold and silver fleet for Sundays racing. Gold fleet will sail three knock out races to determine the winner. There will be a dinner and drinks Saturday for all competitors.
