In 2007, the Stiletto Nationals was reformatted to be open to all multihull sailboats and renamed after the late Bob Buzzelli, avid multihull and Stiletto sailor. Bob helped the form the SYS multihull team after his passing together with his Foundation, Sarasota Youth Sailing has been able to provide access to youth multihull sailors for the first time in our community on beautiful Sarasota Bay. Beginning with a single multihull donation over a decade ago. Thanks to Bob, this program has grown and been very lucky to have sent sailors to multiple world championships and providing top tier opportunities, training and scholarships for our youth. SYS is Honored to host this event and honor Bob for his contribution to youth multihull sailing in Sarasota! Classes Sailing this year are Stiletto, Corsair, general PHRF Multihull, Nacra 15, F18, will be racing October 11-13th.
