Welcome to the Tall Ships Race, to be held the same day as the 72nd running of the Rudder Club of Jacksonville's Mug Race. The Tall Ships Race is approximately a 25 nautical mile race up and down the St. Johns River between the Buckman and Shands Bridges. It is open to sailboats with a mast height of more than 44 feet. The Tall Ships racers are not eligible for any Mug Race Trophies. The Grace Rogers Trophy goes to the first boat to finish on uncorrected time.
All boats should have a PHRF rating from FCSA to register. Contact Jon Hamilton at jon.hamilton4@comcast.net if you do not have a current rating.
Registration includes one Mug Race t-shirt and drink pass. Dinners, drink passes, and other merchandise are available in the store.
