Once again, DRYC and Channel Islands YC are teaming up to run this scenic 45-mile downwind dash along the coast on Sept. 19 Channel Islands Harbor is an easy delivery destination from Santa Monica Bay. Most racers motor up the coast Friday morning and arrive in plenty of time for ChIYC’s delicious steak dinner on Friday evening. It’s a fun club to hang out at, and they serve a fabulous pre-race breakfast on Saturday morning. Following the race, participants are invited to enjoy festivities at DRYC with guest docking available. Racers will likely enjoy a warm, sunny and breezy spinnaker run down the coast, past Pt. Dume and Malibu, with most finishing before sunset.
