2013 NYRA-Beer Army Cinco de Mayo Regatta held at Blackbeard Sailing Club, New Bern, NC May 4th, 2013 POSTPONED BY WEATHER - NEW DATE - MAY 11, 2013 (Proceeds to benefit the Edward Teach Youth Sailing Association) One design and PHRF racing on the Neuse River, just off the New Bern Waterfront! CLASS COMPETITION One Design Classes Anticipated OD Classes: Flying Scot, Sunfish, Opti, Ensign, Flying Junior, & San Juan 21 Other classes may be considered if enough interest (3 or more boats) is generated OD classes will be racing on the Neuse River just off the New Bern waterfront. Multiple races are planned for each day. PHRF Classes Schedule of Events: Saturday, May 11th 10:00 am - Competitors Meeting - BSC Clubhouse 11:00 am - First starting senquence - NYRA Cinco de Mayo Regatta 5:30 pm - Cinco de Mayo Shore Party - Bear Town Market (BTM), 402 S. Front St., New Bern. Fish tacos catered by MJ's Raw Bar and Grille; beer provided by Beer Army Combat Brewery
