This day camp is offered at LLSC to encourage beginner and early intermediate sailors to get their sailing season started with a 5 day camp that focuses on fun, safety and the basics of sailing. Intermediate sailors will be separated and focus on more technical skills such as upwind, downwind, beginner starting and beginner racing. Optimist Sailboat class - Beginner and Intermediate - ages 7 till 14 Bring your own boat 420 Sailboat class - Beginner and intermediate - ages 11 till 16 Boats provided Bring your own lunch, water bottle, lifejacket, water shoes, towel and change of clothes. Campers must be able to pass a swim test without a lifejacket on and tread water.
