2014 NYRA Cinco de Mayo Regatta held on the waters of the Neuse River, just off Union Pt, New Bern, NC May 3rd, 2014 (Proceeds to benefit the Edward Teach Youth Sailing Association) One design and PHRF racing on the Neuse River, just off the New Bern Waterfront! CLASS COMPETITION One Design Classes Anticipated OD Classes: Sunfish, Opti, Tanzer, Ensign, Flying Junior, 420 & San Juan 21 Other classes may be considered if enough interest (3 or more boats) is generated OD classes will be racing on the Neuse River just off the New Bern waterfront. Multiple races are planned for each day. Schedule of Events: Saturday, May 11th 9:30 am - Competitors Meeting - Lawson's Creek picnic shelter 11:30 am - First starting senquence - NYRA Cinco de Mayo Regatta 5:30 pm - Cinco de Mayo Shore Party - Lawson's Landing cafe, 529 S Front St, New Bern, NC 28562 (behind the NC History Museum).
