Join us Sept 27-28 for sailing and instructional training because now is time for you to Discover Sailing!
Spend a weekend discovering what a lifelong passion sailing can be. Whether it is racing Lasers, keelboats or just cruising, sailing is one sport that can give lifelong fulfillment for the entire family. Fees are $50.00 for weekend or $35 for a single day per individual- all the instructors are volunteers who love sailing and sharing our passion for the sport. Lunches, snacks and beverages will be provided Saturday and Sunday.
This fall we are hosting the event in conjuction with annual Board Bash Regatta so that visitors attending Discover Sailing can see what a typical weekend is like at our club when we have a Regatta. After we finish up sailing and instruction on Saturday feel free to join us for dinner with Board Bash competitors and friends and experience a weekend as any member would. Our dinners are not at all formal and bsuiness casual is more than sufficient dress attire.
What a bargain! We have some limited space for a few folks who want to learn about the techniques of sailing and spend some time on the water.
Visitors are permitted to come Friday, Sept 26th, to get settled and acquainted with the grounds and to camp out through the weekend (we have ample showers and facilities). The grounds will be open Friday evening and grills are ample if you plan to grill out.
