The Corpus Christi Yacht Club looks forward to hosting the 2014 United States International F18 National Championship from October 19-24, 2014. The club has hosted numerous national and international championship events and looks forward to putting on a championship to remember. Mark Foster will be serving as PRO and is known for his excellent race management. Corpus Christi Bay is known for its regular sea breeze of 15 plus knots out of the southeast and, in October, daytime highs range from 79-86 degrees Fahrenheit and daily lows range from 65-73 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks to Zhik for their great sponsorship and Emerald Beach Hotel for serving as host hotel adjacent to race sight on McGee Beach. Registration includes five days of championship racing with a kick-off practice race on Sunday afternoon, opening and closing dinners at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club, daily socials and evening activities, shirts for skipper/crew, daily give aways and more.
