    Locals call the regatta site “The Old Swimming Hole” located at the Dare County Regional Airport - 410 Airport Rd. – Manteo, NC 27954. As you come into the town of Manteo you will be on Hwy 64/264 and will proceed through town and follow the signs to the North Carolina Aquarium. Turn left onto Airport Road off Hwy 64/264. Follow Airport Road towards the aquarium and airport. You will see a green pop-up tent on the left side of Airport Road right across from the entrance to the aquarium. This marks the entrance to the regatta parking area. Please park vehicles, boats and trailers in this parking area before checking in at registration. You will be instructed to move boats and dollies to the fenced in boat storage area after you have checked in. General parking for the rest of the regatta will also be in this location. Parking is free, however please keep your vehicles locked and valuables out of site. Regatta security will roam this area in the evenings. Registration and check in begins at 9 AM on Wednesday morning under the Pavilion at the race site. The Pavilion is an easily walk from the parking area. Continue down Airport Road towards the airport and bear to the right down the driveway between the airport and aquarium. All race activities will be located in the area near and around the Pavilion. Once you are checked in and completed all registration and safety requirements you will be instructed to move your boat and dolly to the fenced off boat storage area. All boats and dollies will remain in this area during the regatta for easy access to the launch area. Regatta security will also roam this area in the evenings. We have two food vendors that will be on site for your convenience. Fresh baked goods and pastries will be available each morning. There will also be a hot dog vendor with drinks, chips and variety of hot dogs and sausages each day around mid-morning. There are also several sandwich shops on the waterfront in downtown Manteo and along Hwy 64/264 that you can stop and bring food out to the site. Coral Reef Sailing Apparel will also be on site for all of your racing apparel needs. ...
