Race 6 has started at 12:05 with 12-15 knots of wind. The course is set at 1.3 nautical miles at 140 degrees. Bow #37 was over early and successfully restarted. Bow # 17 and 14 started at the pin with good boat speed. |

Good morning from the Corpus Christi Yacht Club and the 2006 J/80 World Championship Regatta. The Race Committee has left the dock and most J/80s are leaving the marina. The winds from course are reported to be 12 knots at 140 degrees. |

Day 2 - Race 5 complete. Scores have been posted to the web site. CC Electric will be the sponsor today of daily trophies . Beer, prizes, munchies, and cash bar begin at 18:00. |
