Just registered my Montgomery 17 for fall series. I trailer my boat so crew will be expected to help set up & launch (hour?), retrieve and tear down boat(45?). I'm planning on setting up and launching this Saturday morning (while it's cool) for practice and the races: Sat Aug 17 - Sumer Series 5 at 6pm and Sun Aug 18-Transgrape 4 at 1pm. I will "shadow" start 5 minutes after last fleet each race. My boat is a small boat that thinks it's a big boat (PHRF of 294) and so will be way behind in actual time, but it is a great sailer (no spinnaker). Jim Hymes text me 469-968-4302 and I'll put you on my list of eager crew.

Don’t Panic is looking for crew on 07/13/2019. We will plan on meeting at 4:00pm. Racing is from 6:00pm to around 8:30. We need a full crew if we are going out so we are looking for 3-4 folks to join us. Absolutely no racing experience is required! If you are new to the club and/or recently attended the sailing seminar give me a call. Let’s go out and have some fun going around the marks.

Greetings! I'm 29 years old and sailed a 13' Banshee on Grapevine Lake for a few years in my earlier days, but have limited experience on larger boats. I am looking to get back into the sport after a hiatus and to eventually get a larger boat for myself. In the meantime, I'm looking to get experience and learn what I can from more experienced sailors of boats 22 ft. and up. Also looking to become a part of the Grapevine sailing community again. I'm no Ted Turner, but I'm a willing crew (and maybe even "able" with some good instruction!)

I am looking to crew including committee or chase boat. I bring little experience and know how but a lot of want to. I attended the seminar and have a boat but need to get more experience with seasoned skippers before attempting to become one myself. If you need an extra hand or it’s your week to handle the committee boat duties, every opportunity is a great chance to learn. And there’s extra rum for any opportunity on a Catalina 30. Thank you for your consideration and fair winds!!

My wife and I are interested in crewing. We are new members from the summer seminar and have been out on a handful of boats since then. No race experience but quick learners and take direction well. Thanks!

I have crewed on Blew Bayou for several seasons and have experience with jibs and travelers. Some foredeck work but not enough to say I am competent or comfortable in race conditions. Not available July 6, Aug 3-10.
