S/V Adelaide has had a crew member drop out. Looking for a 5th member of the crew who is also prepared to sail back with us. Last year we finished second in class, and also won the TMCA trophy. But our primary goal is to enjoy the journey and arrive safely. Please contact me if interested.

Looking for anyone who wants to join a crew of three 40 something guys on a free boat ride back to Galveston or Seabrook after the race. One of our crew members needs to return to work and can’t make the trip back with us. Boat is a Hunter 285. All we are looking for is someone easy going and not afraid of helping out with night watch. Call for quicker response!

Hello I am Bernard Murphy. I had a boat in Kemah for seven years and participated in the HMR several times. I recently helped a buddy sail back from Florida, through the ditch and Gulf. I am in the duffer class but I can work wonders in the galley, rustling up fodder suited to rough offshore conditions. I am an engineer, mechanically adept, physically fit, and easy going. If you need a steady hand for a trip down or back give me a call at 832 971 6423 or Bernard.Murphy2016@Gmail.com If you want to keep me in mind as an alternate in case one of your crew drops out at the last minute, that\'s fine. I can skip work at short notice. I live in Houston. There was a lot of new info at the Safety Meeting yesterday. A new finish line and construction at the Brazos River/ICC junction. Lots of discussion about the rapidly evolving field of AIS and VHF radios which I am trying to keep up with.

New to racing, and I need to strengthen my skills with an experience skipper. I can and will sail both ways. I am a Flight Paramedic of 24 years, and I'm used to working in stressfull situations ( I thrive in them). I can patch, plug, bandage or splint anything. Very mechanically minded and willing to work. I do (recently) own a small 25' sailboat, but I'm not an experienced saltwater sailor. Keep me in mind when you're choosing a crew. 45 years old, married. Willing to learn any job.

My wife and I are looking for a crew opportunity. We have a broad range of experience in regatta sailing on a variety of large cruising sail boats and willing to pitch in wherever needed. We are hard working but laid back enough that we might be a better fit for an easy going crew that doesn't take things too seriously.

Hello, hard working mild mannered eager sailor looking for a boat. I’m 38 y/o white male in good physical shape. Married father of three. Very active sailor at my local club here in Dallas. Experience racing smaller boats particularly flying Scots and lasers. For many years I was our racing/regatta chair for our club and have organized a few regattas. I have the ASA 101,103 and 104 certs and have multi day charter experience as skipper on hunters 34 and hunter 36. Also hunter 42. I also belong to a sailing club in Maine on casco bay where I sail a J22 when we visit family up there. Altogether I’ve been sailing for about 20 years. I’ve been wanting to get in on this regatta for years. Please ask me to join your crew!

Hi. I am a seeking a crew opportunity in the 2019 Harvest Moon Regatta. I live up in the Austin area and would like to gain some offshore experience racing.

Despite being very new to sailing, I am very "gung ho" and have done 7 races this year with the Austin Yacht Club, mostly on a J/29, a couple on a J/22. Additionally, have done several solo outings on a Capri 18. I've learned a TON and never had a problem keeping up with what was going on. I'm attentive, diligent, respectful, with an eye toward professionalism at all times.

If you have space for a hand on your boat for this race or know of someone who needs a hand, please let me know.

Sailing resume and references available upon request.

Thank you.

Available Crew Member for HMR. I've just completed the Chicago to Mackinac Race, Port Huron to Mackinac Race and the Ugotta Regatta in Harbor Springs on a Farr 53 as part of the Warrior Sailing Program. I also compete in the Galveston Bay Rum Races on a Hunter 34. My initial training started with Warrior Sailing completing their basic course as well as the ASA 101 course. I also completed the International Hands On Safety at Sea Course. I'm versed in sail trimming and as a helmsman. I would really like to be part of someone's crew for this event!

I would love to do this as crew if anyone has a need for the race, the return, or both. I have been sailing since 1994, fairly extensively until a couple of years ago. I skippered a Hunter 38 during the 2014 HMR, and have a great deal of other charter experience in various places such as Galveston Bay, the Chesapeake, San Francisco Bay, Marina Del Rey (to Catalina), Corpus, and Tampa Bay (to Sarasota). I hold ASA 101, 103 and 104. Feel free to reach me by phone or text.
