Hello, I am a law professor (46 y/o), living in Santa Monica. I spent most of my late 20s and 30s sailing in the Long Island Sound and up and down the East coast (J23s, Beneteau 323, and regular weekly regattas on J28 - including in winter, with "the frostbiters"!). Then I moved to LA and life took over. I was in Maine teaching my kids how to sail this July and the fire was rekindled. I would love to get back on the water. I'm available on weekends and for Wednesday's races anytime after August 2nd. On a boat I can perform any functions (I need a refresher on the Spi but I am a very fast learner), including ballast!

Hi everyone. I've just moved to LA for school (Cinematography at AFI) and looking to crew some beer can races. I have very little sailing experience, but lots of maritime experience. I grew up commercial fishing on my parents 49' wooden salmon troller from Sitka, AK to Santa Cruz, CA so I'm very comfortable on the ocean and with navigation, boat work, etc. etc.

Looking for a ride for the rest of the summer. Have crewed on over 100 races including two years Sunset Series experience in Cruising Class A on a Beneteau 323 and first half of this season on a J70. Can perform any function but would prefer to be in the cockpit. Willing to be rail meat.

Experience includes racing in Chicago last year on a Catalina 320, mainly trimming jib and spin. Prior experience on J-24, and grew up sailing E-scow and dinghies recreationally (Laser/Laser 2, 420, Hobie, Sunfish) in NY State. Coached youth team. Recently moved here and looking to crew regularly.

I am a regular Martin 242 racer, but my skipper is out of town for the next few weeks beginning 5/12. I also have experience on J-Boats, Tartans, cruisers, and other boats.
I have experience in a number of positions on the boat

Recently moved to Los Angeles from Chicago. Grew up in Michigan racing Scows, and taught youth sailing. Expert level dinghy racing and sailing tactics. Intermediate to advanced keel-boat buoy and offshore experience: J29; Tripp40; Catalina30, 35; Jeanneau 35--Chicago to Mac 2013.
Looking to get back on the big boats, and have some fun!
