Dear 2018 Labor Day Regatta Competitors, Volunteers and friends,
On behalf of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, the Commodore and the Labor Day Regatta Organizing Committee, it is with the deepest regret to inform you, the 2018 72nd Annual Sarasota Labor Day Regatta has been cancelled.
Sarasota County government has issued another 7 day extension to the “No Swim" Environmental Advisory due to the Bacteria Levels associated with “Red Tide”. At this time, we do not foresee a window that will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the competing sailors, friends and families.
A refund for your registration and any additional purchases will be issued via Regatta Network as promptly as possible.
We truly appreciate your commitment and efforts to join us on this signature and historic event at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron.
We hope you will join us for future events.
