41st Annual Changing of the Colors J/24 Regatta
September 27 - 29, 2019

Green Light
All races are proceeding as scheduled.

All boats entering Lake George beginning May 2014 are required to be inspected by the Lake George Park Commission for invasive species. There will be a Lake George Park Commission inspection station located in the upper parking of the club. All boats must be inspected before check-in.

11. Penalties has been replaced and will read as stated below: 11.1 The Scoring Penalty,under Appendix V (Alternative Penalties on Pg 185 of the Rules of Sailing) will apply, as modified herein. a) Rule 61.1(a) will be modified such that the protest flag must have a hoist of not less than 150mm and a fly of not less than 200 mm. b) The Race Committee may also announce the numbers of the boats that have broken starting rules via VHF radio. Mediation will be used prior to hearings for protests involving RRS Part 2.

Race Clinic on Friday afternoon 9/27 hosted by Mike Ingham from North Sails

-Open to everyone -Mike Ingham will be in the lot all morning and happy to look at your rig -Briefing at 1:00pm at the docs, then we will go on the water and run short informal races

-Let's mix and match teams, so come to the 1:00pm brief whether you have a full team, or are boat-less and we will do the best we can to get you out there

-Mike will be in a motor boat coaching during the races -Debrief at the dock at 4:30pm (this is open to everyone even if you could not make the clinic)
