MEX 30330 going upwind on port was overlapped to leeward of COL 30718 who was on port going downwind. MEX 30330 altered course to avoid contact with COL 30718. COL 30718 did not see MEX 30330 until after MEX 30330 had passed 1 meter behind COL 30718 and hailed protest. No boat did turns. COL 30718 did not keep clear of MEX 30330 and broke Rule 11

the hearing was opened under RRS 61.1(a4) The incident took place after the prep and above the starting line 8-10 boat lengths wind speed was 10 to 11 knots. Bow No 30 was on starboard, Bow 44 was on port 90 sec before the start Bow 30 did not know that bow 44 was there and altered course when they first saw bow 44 and were 1 boat length apart. port was distracted and did not see the starboard boat. There was contact No penalty turns were taken and bow 30 retired. Bow 30 has a large hole 6 inches below the deck and did not race in Race number 5. Bow 30 raced in race 6 and finished about 18 -20 Port was unware of starboard and did not keep clear as port. and broke rule 10 Starboard was unware of port and did not do everything reasonbly possible to avoid contact therefore breaking rule 14. case 107 is applicatble Redress for bow 30 both races 5 and 6 is denied as damage took place not through no fault of her own

Incident took place at leeward gate leg number 2 Race no. 6 Bow 46 ( B46 )was clear ahead of B42 and B26 as they entered the zone for mark 3P B42 was inside overlapped with B26 B46 and B42 were rounding the mark 3P the gates were about 9 boat lengths apart B26 decided to go to the right gate when they were more than 3 boat lengths out from mark 3P. Bow 46 owed room to the boat ahead and had slowed. Bow 26 contacted their bow to B46 ports corner there was damage Bow 42 and B26 made contact bow quarter to bow quarter. Bow 42 had contact with B46 No boat did penalty turns After racing it was determined there was damage to B42 but it is not clear that it was the result of this incident . B 26 did not give room to B46 and B 42 broke RRS 18.2(b). B26 did not attempted to avoid a collision with B46 and broke rule 14. B42 did not give B46 mark room and broke 18.2(b) but is exonerated under RRS 64.1(a) Neither B46 or B42 could avoid contact and did not break RRS 14 Rule 62 does not apply.

Incident took place at the windward mark 2nd rounding Bow 18 on port tacked to starboard inside the zone from 1 boat length from the mark Bow 18 was inside B43 and in clear ahead of B32 B18 on starboard hit the mark with the boom, traveler line . No penalty turns were taken Bow 18 made contact with the Mark and broke RRS 31.
