We were due! After light air and hurricanes, we got it. A dead nuts upwind, downwind on a building breeze. Long courses called with surprises on the dark side of the islands. Tales of a skied halyard, sewn sail repair, and green water over the bow were heard. The smiles and stories onshore said it all. Even a little port/starboard bumper boats with Greyfax and Nemesis at the start had both racing. And only 1 OCS out of 28. Two out of town yachts added to the already big Smuttynose Fleet - Wild Blue from Portland YC and Matilda from American in Newburyport. Welcome! 28 yachts registered. 28 yachts started. 28 yachts finished. We were due!
