Comfortable cool evening, a moderate southerly, surprisingly flat water, all remained steady right until the weather marks were set. Breeze now gone west quite a bit. The leeward mark reset, weather marks still worked. Extra long, twice around course set. Shorter than usual line may have contributed to a rare General Recall for second start B Fleet. Little confusion ensued. Some B boats had to be called a few times to get them back for the restart while the C Fleet went off. Checking the visual signals (first substitute) may have helped. Still an especially nice evening of sailing! 24 yachts started. 24 yachts finished. Gotta love a good midsummer's evening breeze!
