Looked like a nice, even breezy, southerly. Worried that it might not last, a long up and down for A fleet was planned with an old school olympic for B & C. Dark skies appeared on shore, the answering pennant was raised. 15 minutes later the pennant was lowered. The storm did hit right after the third start, breeze on then the rain. 6 yachts dropped out, one of them earlier. 17 crews got into their foulies, negotiated the everywhere winds, and finished.
