As Chumly left the mooring, it was light rain, calm seas and no wind. Race committee proceeded to area south of 2kr to wait. After awhile, a light sse breeze came up with flat seas. RC set a short course .78 for spin A and B and .49 for cruise and spin c with hopes that the breeze would hold. First warning went off on time at 1800 for spin A and spin B and rolling start for cruise and spin C for a 2 lapper, windward leeward. Second race was a 1 lapper and the breeze just barely held. 17 boats raced and finished. Special thanks to Jon Allard, Andy Keturakis and Randy Johnson for my first time out as RC guy.
