11:55:00 Scheduled First Warning - Thick fog came in around 11:00 killing not only visibility, the breeze too. Couple early boats out there when it came in. RC arrived on station shortly thereafter confirming conditions to the fleet, Answering Pennant hoisted at 11:55. Fog teased with partial clearing from time to time, actual clearing little before 14:00. Still no breeze. Rest of the fleet called in anyway. Little offshore something developed - RC moved the line closer in to a very light breeze and strong north > south current. Simple to Rye Harbor buoy and back announced, first Warning at 14:35 I Flag flown to help keep the boats off the line, away from OCS inducing current. Once all fleets started, breeze oscillating, quitting off/on. RC shortened course setting a mark about a mile closer. Tough up and back for everyone nonetheless. Scratch boat Trinity took 1 hour and 7 minutes plus to sail the 2.24 NM course! 22 boats showed, 1 couldn't wait, 2 didn't finish, 19 finished - phew!
