A rare normal August evening, overcast with daylight definitely waning. A fairly steady light WSW from Wallis Sands was in, a bit like the old days. It was enough for RC to call for a twice around W/L, but just before the Warning Signal the course was changed to once around, as the breeze had lightened even more. Turned out to be the right decision. 13 out of 15 showed, all finished. Next week the Warning Signal moves to 17:30 as the light ebbs further.
