A hot and mostly still day didn't promise much. Still Little Harbor showed a fresh breeze upon arrival. Once out there the breeze was a light southerly, then everywhere and nowhere. Finally dragged the fleet out to Gunboat where there was a light and mostly steady southerly. Gunboat was the weather mark. A strong ebb and subsequent eddy played a large part too. 14 out of 15 j24s showed, missing only Vox. We barely got an up and down 1.42 nm race in. So far this season it seems either a zephyr or a gale. Here's to next week.
