You are signing up for a two day Adult Beginner Sailing Class

This class will be tought in small two person boats (FJ Dinghy)

Classes May Include
  • Rig the boat
  • Leaving the dock
  • Hoist the sails
  • Sailing to weather
  • Sailing downwind
  • Safe practices
  • Boat handling skills
  • Sailing terms
  • Simple navigation

 

What do I need to bring

  • Bottled Drinking Water, Sun Block
  • Hat, Sunglasses with leash
  • Tennis Style Shoes (Bare feet or Sandles are not permitted) 
  • If you have your own life jacket you are welcome to bring it (please label) otherwise SSC will provide a life jacket

Everyone is required to wear a Life Jacket (PFD – Personal Floatation Device) at all times when on the water, in boats or on the docks.
