All sailors must be able to swim and will be given a swimming test prior to their first class.

Sailors must provide a properly fitting, Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Device [PFD]. Everyone must wear water shoes at all times at the shore and while on the water. Sun screen is also essential.

Safety is our primary concern at all times. Every US Sailing Certified Instructor is also certified in CPR and First Aid for your protection.

Hydration is critical at all times of the year and water or other fluids are required for every student.

 
HYS SailCamp runs from 9 am - 4 pm and will be held at 15 Fremont Court, Daytona Beach, FL.

Sailors will need the following each day:
Lunch
Refillable water bottle
Coast Guard approved Type III PFD [life vest]
Water shoes
Sun Screen
Hat & Sunglasses with keeper cord
Bathing suit or clothes that can be wet
Towel
Gym bag or backpack for personal items
Change of dry clothing
Whistle (plastic)

Register and make payment before April 30th for the discounted rate of $240. Registration rate on or after May 1st will be $265.
