The regatta will be governed by the 2021-2024 ISAF Racing Rules, Sailing Instruction and/or rules set at the skipper’s meeting.

Boat Launch

Beaver Bay Campground Boat Launch -  Adjacent to overnight boat storage lot. 


Yale Park Boat Launch near Cougar Wa. 

No overnight storage of boats. Boats will need to be towed to Beaver Bay Campground for overnight storage.


Eligible Classes

Sailing Dinghy and Catamaran classes.  Three boats per class will need to be registered by July 5th to be awarded prizes.  



Competitors meeting will be at Beaver Bay group campground at 10AM on Saturday Aug 6th.  First Warning will be at 12 Noon.    

Sunday’s 1st Warning will be at 10 AM.  We are planning on sailing as many races as possible. One race will constitute a regatta. There will be no races started after 3pm on Sunday.  Official notice board and protest location is at Beaver Bay Group campground.  


Registration Details

Registration will be on Regatta Network. The link can be found on the Willamette Sailing Club website.

Singlehand Registration - $110 – Includes 1 Saturday dinner, 1 Sunday Breakfast,, 1 Car, & Camping

Doublehand Registration - $135 – Includes 2 Saturday dinners, 2 Sunday Breakfast. 1 Car, & Camping

Triplehand Registration - $160– Includes 3 Saturday dinners, 3 Sunday Breakfast, 1 Car, & Camping

Additional meal tickets - $25 -for Saturday dinner and Sunday Breakfast.

Parking - Each boat registered gets 1 free parking pass.  Extra parking passes are $5/day each. Please prepay on the Regatta Network.  Show your receipt to Christine to get your pass.  

Al Morris is priced to be a cost breakeven event. 

Alcohol Free Venue

Beaver Bay campground and all other PacificCorp properties at Yale Lake are alcohol free. Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages at the park is prohibited.


Saturday dinner will be catered. Please bring your own plates and utensils.  

Sunday breakfast will be provided by head chef Mike Van Kirk and the Daysailer Fleet. 

Extra Food not included in your registration fee is  $25 for Dinner and Breakfast. Please pre-pay on Regatta Network.



Friday, August 5th.

Beaver Bay Group Camp is reserved for Al Morris sailors. 

So come on up and enjoy. Check in is at 2 PM or later. 

Christine Stamper plans to be up there early.  ( 

Saturday, August 6th

Competitors meeting 10am at Beaver Bay group campsite. 

First Warning – 12 noon

Dinner – 6pm (or soon after racing ) – at the Beaver Bay group campground 


Sunday, August 7th

Breakfast served at Beaver Bay group campsite. 

First Warning – 10am

No races will be started after 3pm. There is no limit on the number of races. 

Awards and farewell location will be announced at the event.  

Camping overnight on Sunday is included.


Monday, August 8th

Checkout from camp site by 11 a.m



One parking pass is included per boat registration. Extra cars are $5/day. Pre-pay in Regatta Network if possible. Show Christine Stamfer your receipt to get your passes. 

All boats will be kept overnight at the Beaver Bay campground at the ramp parking.

You can also leave your tent up Sunday morning until after racing on Sunday.

Boat Information

In consideration of the undersigned’s participation in this Willamette Sailing Club event and other sponsors (collectively, the “Sponsors”) and hosted by the Willamette Sailing Club, the undersigned participant (“Participant”), and if such Participant is a minor, the Participant’s parent or legal guardian by countersigning below, on behalf of themselves and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives and next of kin (collectively with Participant, “Releasors”), hereby forever waive, release and discharge each of the Sponsors, the Host and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, members, managers, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (each a “Released Party”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, judgments, executions, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, whether the same be known, anticipated or unanticipated, which a Releasor may have, or claim to have, against any Released Party resulting from death, personal injury, property damage or other loss Releasor may sustain as a result of participating in the Regatta or other activities related thereto. THIS RELEASE IS INTENDED TO DISCHARGE EACH RELEASED PARTY FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED IN ANY WAY WITH RELEASOR’S PARTICIPATION IN THE REGATTA. Releasors hereby acknowledge that serious accidents occasionally occur during sailing activities and that mortal or serious personal injuries and/or property damage or other loss may result from participation in the Regatta. Releasors knowingly assume all risks of participation in the Regatta, including all risk of personal injury and loss of or damage to the Releasors or their property, including further injury sustained as the result of the efforts of third parties who come to the aid of Releasor(s) if injured as a result of participation in the Regatta, and release all other persons and entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to Releasors. Releasors agree to abide by all rules of the Sponsors and the Host in connection with participation in the Regatta and understand that the failure to observe and obey such rules may result in instant revocation of Releasor’s(s’) right to participate in the Regatta
